Electric Overhead Extension Progressing Steadily

The Electric Traction section is currently preparing to install the overhead catenary above the main line in Moorhouse yard. At present, the suspensory wires are being put up to hold the upper wire before the contact wire is put up. The overhead will be as high as possible in the yard in order to have the minimum photogenic effect.
