The Derwent Railway Society is based in Cumbria, England. It was formed in 1979 and is dedicated to the preservation of local railway artifacts and railway heritage in Cumbria.

The Society hosts a varied programme of guest speakers, special events and excursions and has an active Model Rail section and Museum at our home in The Phoenix Center, Cleator Moor.
