[Italian] Empire, Last Stop
For its times, also this train was
running at high speed: 35 km per hour. One century ago, hundreds of italian
soldiers built a very modern railway between the Red Sea and the 2400 meters
of the Asmara plateau. Today, in the middle of the wounds of a recent war,
the former italian colony in Africa is attempting an even more incredible
enterprise. To put again into operation that ruined railway. How? With
the same locomotives. And the same engineers.
