Interested in the fun and challenging hobby of model railroading?

Interested in applying your skills or learning new ones by working on a large layout?

Interested in operating trains on a large prototypical layout?

HOMES can offer you these opportunities, plus the fellowship and support of friends in our hobby. Join our current members and share your skills and love of model trains and the hobby of model railroading.

We're looking for people interested in working on track, wiring, scenery, structures, rolling stock and much more. All levels of skill are welcome. Current members come from all around the Hamilton area and beyond; wherever you live, you're welcome!

Two types of membership accommodate those who wish to participate in all aspects of layout construction, as well running their own equipment on a large layout, and those who only wish to participate in operating sessions once or twice per month.

Read our mission statement and club philosophy, and our membership requirements.

We meet Tuesday nights after 7pm, and Saturday mornings after 9am. Operating sessions are held one or two Saturdays per month starting at 1pm. The club room is at the Eva Rothwell Centre, in the former Robert Land School at 460 Wentworth Street North, L8L 5W8, in the heart of industrial North Hamilton (the TH&B Belt Line was just steps away, and the CNR belt and mainline are still within a block). Please contact us before visiting, and we'll explain how to gain access.

New Members Always Welcome!
