A trio
of SD20s led by #2021 bring 60 cars of coal past the old Gulf Mobile & Ohio depot at
Sparta, Ill. on December 29, 1991. The train is BA2 or "Baldwin 2" and
shuttles coal between Arch of Illinois' Captain Mine near Percy and Illinois Power's
Baldwin Generating Station. The Sparta depot was made famous by the 1967
Oscar-winning movie In the Heat of the Night, staring Rod Steiger and Sidney
Poiter.
