Established 1913, Subsidiary of Quebec and Ontario Transportation Co., wholly-owned subsidiary of the Chicago Tribune.
Note: Quebec North Shore Paper Co. Ltd. is a wholy owned subsidiary of Ontario Paper.

Became Quebec and Ontario Paper Co, later, QUNO and later Donahue Inc. later still Abitibi-Consolidated Inc.
2007 became Abitibi-Bowater. Finally, Renamed 2011 Resolute Forest Products. Note: Mill idled March 2017.
Acquired 2022 by BMI Group for conversion to a new port facility to be operated by HOPA (Hamilton Oshawa Port Authority) Thorold Multimodal Hub part of a proposed Niagara expansion to include Port Colborne and Welland.
