Hear the Whistle Blow Event!

On July 15th, 2006, the air at the Williamsville, New York - LEHIGH VALLEY DEPOT, 86 South Long Street, will be filled again with the sweet sounds of Steam Locomotive Whistles and Diesel Horns.

At the Keyboard! (35K)This years event will feature Mr. Lee Alley and his "Whistle Machine!" Lee is traveling all the way from Bristol, Tennessee with his custom built double axle trailer which has many whistles from different railroads of the south. Mr. Alley's trailer has it's own 185 cfm SulAir Compressor and a 125 gallon storage tank which will supply enough air for any size whistle. We will also have a Diesel Horn Honkin' Rig which will accommodate any kind of Diesel Horn. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own Whistles and Horns if they want to hear and blow them on high volume air. Lee has many assorted adapters which will allow the mounting of any type or size of whistle.

So mark your calendars, bring the whole family and some lawn chairs and be prepared to take a trip down memory lane when the sound of an approaching locomotive stirred excitement in the air!

Please check out our 2004 Whistle Blow Event to see and hear some Whistles and Horns.
