Hi there.
I worked on the Ferrymead Railway in the early 1960s before coming to Australia in 1967.

Really great. It was good to hear the sounds of the historic locomotives at work. I must give you full marks.

Hi, I like your new web site (especially the sound files). When I visit Christchurch, Ferrymead is the first place I visit as my father (Mike Adams )was involved with running the first steam locomotive at Ferrymead in 1968 and I have very fond memories as a child (when I lived in Ch Ch) going to Ferrymead for the day and being amongst good friends. Give my regards to everyone there and I hope to be over soon for a holiday and to have a beer at the Valley Inn.
