Who We Are - What We Do

  Welcome aboard on your journey into the world of N Scale model railroading.

  N Scale is a 1/160th scale replica of a real train, building, person, or automobile allowing the hobbyist to
  create an entire scene in a compact and incredibly detailed format. Whether you are a beginner or an
  experienced modeler, we invite you to explore our website where you will find model railroading
  information about N Scale, NTRAK, T-TRAK, DCC and much more.

  The club welcomes new members, including newcomers to the hobby. When you decide to join us, you
  will gain access to various events and a community of outgoing and knowledgeable hobbyists of all skill
  levels & interests who are just as passionate about N Scale as you. There is plenty to do and learn, so
  join us and begin enjoying The World's Greatest Hobby in a friendly and enjoyable environment.

  Our Area Train Shows page lists model railroading events in which the club participates that are open to   the public. There are other private events where we give back to the community with displays at venues   like retirement communities and schools. We invite you to stop by, say hello and run a train.

The North Raleigh Model Railroad Club is classified as a public foundation under Section 509(a)(2) of the Internal Revenue Service Code, and is exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS Code. Donors may fully deduct contributions to the NRMRC as provided in Section 170 of the IRS Code. A copy of our tax exempt status may be obtained by contacting Geoff Flegel, NRMRC President or Charles Eisener, NRMRC Treasurer.
