W. G. Thompson & Sons Ltd.

W.G.Thompson & Sons 100 at Blenheim, still lettered for GWWD. Brian D. Switzer

OSR provided and maintained locomotives for W.G.Thompson & Sons at two of their grain elevators located at Blenheim on the CSX (formerly Chesapeake & Ohio, originally Pere Marquette), and Rodney on the former CASO (Canada Southern), presently operated by CN.

In 1994 OSR acquired from the Greater Winnipeg Water District all four of their GE 44-tonners, 100-103; with 100 and 101 (built new for GWWD) going to W.G.Thompson at Blenheim and Rodney respectively.
103 (ex CNR 1) became PSTR L3 Winnie, while 102 was kept for parts.

100 and 101 were sold in August 1997 to W.G.Thompson ending OSR's involvement with them.
