The City of Gardena still has 2 old Pacific Electric style wigwags. These would be of the pole mounted variety. While Paul Krot was getting these images in August of '99, he also ran across an old PE crossbuck. It has two layers of lettering..."Stop Look and Listen", covered over by "Pacific Electric". You know that's gotta be pretty old!

	Vermont/Gardena Sts. Note: This signal was removed in Nov. 2000
		Notice the special turret used to position the motor box at an angle. This is a very unique modification. Have yet to see another of these.

Vermont/164th Sts.

Note:
This wigwag was retired
on Oct. 2000-
replaced with a cantilever
flasher.
