This signal was reported to have been removed in September 2007.

This wigwag has the destinction of being the last SP Coastline wigwag still in service.
This signal protects a private crossing near
Devon Siding. I don't have the exact location other than what I
mentioned above (see map links below).
These pictures were taken by Denny Dollahon back in '83.
The only difference now is that it have been modified with a
"Van Dyke" (repro) banner. I should get some updated soon.

Don Chalfant, who volunteers as an interpretive guide on the Coast Starlight
sends in this photo he took on a day off  in June 2006.
He also pointed out that he always points out the last Coast Line wigwag to
passengers on the train.

This wigwag was removed in January 2002.

This wigwag stands guard at the end of Santa Claus Lane in Santa Claus, CA on Espee's Coast Line.  This is an example of one of the very few that still have their original base.  The SP (now UP) Oxnard signal maintainers are to thank for keeping these wigwags in such beautiful shape.

Well, these aren't exactly new, they were taken back in March of '98.
This is how the banner looked before it was replaced recently.
Surprised to see one of the Van Dyke repro banners this rusty!
