September 2025 program: Fs, Commuters, and Excursions
Two C&NW commuter trains Available on YouTube. Trains of the 1970s and 1980s: Alex Mayes' presentation highlights passenger and freight trains from those decades. The show includes Southern Railway's Southern Crescent, excursions in Northern Virginia, and a trip to Chicago in 1978.


August 2025 program: Southwest Rails & Music
Steam engine and classic car Available on YouTube. Doug Scott presents a multimedia program backed by musical soundtracks covering his trip to the Southwest in October 2024. The program features BNSF in the Albuquerque area and between Belen and Williams.


July 2025 program: California Dreaming
Santa Fe locomotive in 1980 Available on YouTube. Jim Kleeman's presentation feature images from four decades of railfanning in the Golden State, with a focus on three classic locations: Tehachapi Loop, Cajon Pass, and the Mojave Desert.


June 2025 program: Along the RF&P (1960s to 2025)

George Hamlin shares photography from his many experiences along the historic and picturesque Richmond, Fredericksburg & Potomac main line that connects Richmond VA with Washington D.C. The images range from the 1960s to 2025.


Clay and Diane
(Clay Moritz and his wife Diane at the Baltimore Streetcar Museum.) After 35 years on the job, Clay has stepped down as editor of Potomac Rail News. October 2024 was his last edition. The newsletter has always been a delight to read. The Potomac Chapter is grateful for Clay's decades of service.
