Canada Coach Lines bought 18 TDH-4512s (Transit bus, Diesel engine, Hydraulic transmission, 45 passenger, model #12) from the HSR between 1974 and 1978. CCL 1671-1681 were built in 1957, and CCL 1691-1698 were built in 1958. These buses were mostly used as schoolbuses in the Welland area, as CCL had the bus contract with the local school boards in the 1970s. This contract ended in 1978. As shown in the table below, not all of the buses were in service at the same time.

CCL #1673 at the Catherine St yard, date unknown. At least it will be CCL #1673 when it's renumbered from HSR #503.
