Down by the Station...

  Ex-Minneapolis and St. Louis (MSTL) depot at Waseca, MN, was built in 1913.  It's a commercial business in this 4/20/11 photo.

This is the ex-Arizona & New Mexico Rwy depot at Clifton, AZ, 4/23/23. Built in 1903, it's now the local vistor Center.

This is the former St. Louis & San Francisco, "Frisco",  depot at Fayetteville, AR, 4/21/08. It is now a Japanese Bistro.

This is the ticket office on the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad at Antonito, CO, in this 5/07/08 photo.

This is the former Duluth & Iron Range (D&IR) depot in Two Harbors, MN, built in 1907; later the Duluth, Mesabi, & Iron Range Railway in 1937. The Lake County Historical Society established a museum here in 1961 and has owned the facility since 1980.  5/23/15 photo.

  Ex-Missouri-Kansas-Texas "Katy" Railroad depot at Vici, OK, 4/24/17. It's now home of the Vici Historical Society.

Depot at Nevada City, MT, on the Alder Gulch Shortline Railroad tourist line.   The origin of this depot is not clear, but it was probably moved here from some other location in the 1960's.  Nevada City and Virginia City, the eastern terminus of the Alder Gulch, were never served by a mainline RR. 7/13/05 photo.

  Oregon Washington Railroad & Navigation Co. depot at Pomeroy, WA. The O-WRR&N's history seems to end in 1910!   It houses commercial businesses in this 8/26/09 photo.

  Former Chicago Great Western (CGW) depot in Red Wing, MN, 3/17/05. For many years it was a fast food restaurant, but is now a coffee house.

Former Illinois Central (IC) depot at Cherokee, IA.  Built in 1896; it houses a museum and offices in this 8/06/06 photo.

  Ex-Green Bay & Western depot at Whitehall, WI, 4/17/17. Built in 1914, it now houses Whitehall city offices.

Silverton, CO, depot on the Durango and Silverton Narrow Guage Railroad, 5/07/09. The depot also houses a museum which is free with your train ticket.

Former Missouri Pacific (MOPAC) depot at Downs, KS 5/04/23. It is now home of the Downs Historic Railroad Foundation.

Former MOPAC depot at Salina, KS, 5/04/23. Built in 1887 and used by MOPAC until 1912 when UP built their depot which then became a union station with MOPAC. It's been used by a variety of businesses over the years, it's today's usage.

The former Missouri Pacific (MP) at Scott City, KS,  4/21/11. A freight train derailment in the early 1990's destroyed the far end of the depot!  UP currently uses it.
