Granby, CO

  Amtrak depot serving Olympia - Lacey, WA, 7/20/04.

Vancouver, WA
  Amtrak station at Vancouver, WA, 8/02/05.  The Coast Starlight, Empire Builder (Chicago-Portland section), and a dozen Cascades stop here daily.  Constructed in 1908,  the depot once served GN, NP, SP&S, and UP.
Minot, ND
  Amtrak depot at Minot, ND, 8/28/09. The exterior was completely remodeled in 2008 with the interior scheduled for 2010.


Hutchinson, KS
This is the Amtrak depot in Hutchinson, KS, 5/10/19. Built by the ATSF in 1954, it's now a stop on Amtrak's Southwest Chief.
Hastings, NE
  Amtrak depot at Hastings, NE, 5/11/19, was built in 1902 by the CB&Q.  It currently includes commercial businesses & hosts the California Zephyr.
LaJunta, CO
This is the Amtrak depot in La Junta, CO, 5/07/08. Built in 1955, it serves the Southwest Chief, and a portion of the building is used by BNSF.
Osceola,IA
This is the Amtrak depot in Osceola, IA, 4/09/12. Built in 1907 by CB&Q, it's now a stop on Amtrak's California Zephyr.
Independence, MO
This is the former Amtrak depot in Independence, MO, 4/10/12. Built in 1913 for the Missouri Pacific Railroad, it was a stop on the Southwest Chief until the Chief move it's stop to Kansas City Union Station.
Grand Junction, CO
This is "Union Station" in Grand Junction, CO, 8/09/03. A misnomer; it was built as a restaurant in 1970!  In 1992, Amtrak moved their California Zephyr stop here from the deteriorating DRGW depot nearby.
Denver, CO
Denver, CO, Union Station served  DRG&W, CB&Q, C&S,  ATSF, Rock Island, and UP RR's.  Currently a stop on Amtrak's California Zephyr and the "Ski Train" which takes Denver skiers to Winter Park. 5/16/03 photo.
Pueblo, CO
This magnificant depot is the Union Station at Pueblo, CO.  Built in 1889, it served Denver Rio Grande & Western and the Santa Fe.  In this 4/17/06 photo, it houses offices and a restaurant.
Oceanside, CA
   This is the Oceanside Transit Center, Oceanside, CA, 4/28/09. Built in 1984, it serves Amtrak's Surfliner; Metrolink and Coaster regional rail; and Sprinter light-rail.
Wichita, KS
  Union Station at Wichita, KS 4/23/17. Opened in 1914, it served  Frisco, Santa Fe, and Rock Island passenger trains. In this photo, it is being renovated to commercial space.
Phoenix, AZ Phoenix, AZ, "Union Station of the Southern Pacific and Santa Fe Railroads", 4/26/16.  Built in 1923, it saw it's last Amtrak passenger train in 1995. It is now owned by Sprint.
Kansas City,MO
This is the Kansas City Union Station in Kansas City, MO, 4/10/12.  Built in 1901 and restored in 2001, it's primary use is for civic activities.  Amtrak's Southwest Chief stops here, also.
