Ironwood Michigan's former Chicago and Northwestern (CNW) depot in the heart of "Big Snow Country" was built in 1892 and saw it's last passenger train in 1971. The depot is home to the Gogebic County Historical Center in this 2/27/02 photo.

   This former Soo Line depot at Ashland, WI, 2/20/09, is almost rebuilt after being gutted by fire in 2000.  It was sold to a local businessman 4 days after this photo was taken.  It was originally built in 1887.
