CHESSIE SYSTEM
  EAST END: THE CUMBERLAND SUB-DIVISION
HO SCALE MODEL RAILROADING BY JEFF HANKE
LAST UPDATED: JANUARY 17, 2010

NOTICE:  I have founded a Yahoogroup called Chessie_System_East_End to provide more information on
the layout and to have a better forum to address questions and update everyone on my progress.  Please feel free to join.
I will continue to update this site, but the Yahoogroup will be updated more regularly.

Above: Another shot of my Hancock (HO) Tower under construction.  The tower has had its exterior staircase added.  Also the holes have been drilled in the sides, but not the front for the mechanical pipes to come out of the tower and run to the switches.  You can see one exit location right above the door in the foundation.  The inside has most of the details added.  The armstrong levers are finally in.  Each of the 20 levers is scratchbuilt and consists of 4 parts each.  Up next is mounting it to its base.
