I consider a project to be a one nighter or quickie if there is next to no painting involved and the project just needs to be assembled and weathered. A one day project may require some minor painting or decaling and will need to be assembled and weathered. A weekender is a project that will require painting and decaling. Usually these projects start as undecorated kits for freight cars. Locomotive weekenders will require some painting but usually just weathering. 3-Day weekenders require the same amount of work per kit as a weekender, but usually have 4 or more cars in the project, so an extra day is required. 4 to 5 day projects require some minor body work, painting and decaling. Weeklong and serious projects require major body work and detailing. Cutting and sanding projects fall into these categories.
