JTT pine trees now flank an old housing block.

A closer look at the buildings before the clouds were added.

Here we can see the paper facility, one of the two industries, located east of 9th St.

Here, 9th St. becomes a rural highway and crosses the mainline and the return track (exiting the tunnel).

A coal train rolles through 9th St. at a past Open House..

9th Street

9th Street is a small switching area just off the mainline behind Hadley. There are two industries served off a small siding here. Just east of 9th St. trains begin to struggle as the grade will soon be up to 2.5 percent in some places.

Although it looks like triple track, the railroad here is actually double track.   There is a short siding along 9th St.

The area below 9th Street is Hadley, another of our many switching areas.

Below is an early 2001 view of 9th Street (center) and Hadley (right).

Folks sit and enjoy some shade.
