CSL Engine Terminal

The large Engine Terminal on the layout was designed to serve both diesel and steam locomotives. There is a three track diesel service section, able to hold diesel locomotive consists between arrivals and departures of their respective freight and passenger trains. Then there is our large steam locomotive area complete with turntable and nine stall roundhouse. With spaces large enough to accommodate 4-8-8-4 Big-Boys, this roundhouse can house all shapes and sizes of steam locomotives. New additions in 2012 include the coaling tower, ash pit and various fueling and oil towers added to the scene. Plus a new Ice-deck has been assembled just west of the CSL Terminal accessible from Malabar.
